Back to ShogunAI

It learns your work by watching you work

ShogunAI reads text exposed through macOS Accessibility, stores it encrypted on your Mac with its source and time, and indexes it on-device.

Text first, with source attached

Capture follows the focused window and reads its app, title, and visible text through the accessibility layer. Excluded apps, private windows, and password fields are not read; pausing stops capture before anything is stored.

Each memory links to the event that produced it, so recalled information can be checked against its source and time.

Visual recall stays optional

Visual recall is off until enabled. When on, encrypted compressed frames can fill gaps where a permitted window yields little or no text, in canvas-style apps, and for meeting presentations or shared screens. Frames stay on the Mac and expire on the retention schedule you choose.

Local search and control

The shipped app uses a local text index and does not bundle or download an embedding model. Search of captured text works without a network. You can inspect or delete entries, and pause capture whenever you want.
